Natural gesture is a mural installation of hand printed paper and found packaging material. It was presented at the MFA gallery at Concordia University on October 2019. The work is printed in lithography, monotype, relief printing and stamping. Using multiples, variants, and repeated imagery —packaging, shelving, rows, tiles, plantations, crowds— the work reflects on the theme of nature in crisis, and explores motifs of its manifestation in everyday life. A visual account of common places, and an exercise of consciousness in ecological, cultural, and spiritual levels.
